Brisbane is a beautiful city, and what better way to use the CBD’s gorgeous parklands and surroundings than for personal training! The latest statistics indicate that approximately 9% of Australia’s population engages in some form of exercise. Of this 9%, only 4% have gym memberships, and of those 4% only one in ten actually use their memberships on a regular basis.
Simply, what’s preventing the remaining 2% from using their memberships regularly, and more importantly, why are 91% of the population missing out on partaking in some form of exercise? Obviously there is a plethora of reasons why these figures are so alarming – however, without doubt the environment of the gym replicates a very rigid, cold, and sometimes unfriendly atmosphere, where many people are simply not comfortable exercising in.
